Clubs

To ensure that we are able to meet the needs of all within our community, we are committed to providing before and after school care for any pupil who attends Ark Conway.

Breakfast club

Breakfast club starts at 7.30am through to the start of the school day at 8.30am.  You can drop your child off any time from 7:30am until 8:15am.  Activities and a light breakfast are provided.

Book

After school care

After school care runs from 4pm to 6pm and is charged on an hourly basis. Children staying for the second hour are given a healthy snack.

After school care is £3.50 per hour, please book and make the payment on iPayimpact. In order to secure your place, make your booking in advance. We accept various childcare vouchers as payment for our after school care. Please contact the school office via email: info@arkconwayprimary.org for full details.

Please ensure that you collect your child on time at the end of the school day.  Late collections (after 6pm) from after school care incur a £20 fine.

Our enrichment clubs are separate from after school care and breakfast club.

Ark Conway enrichment clubs take place every week after school from 4pm to 5pm each day. The timetable changes each term; our current clubs include: football, drama, yoga, gymnastics, musical explorers, lego, jump rope/skipping, tennis, ball skills, cookery and ballet.

All clubs operate on a "first-come first-served" basis and will only run if they have sufficient interest. Please contact the club providers directly to book.

Enrichment clubs currently cost between £5.00 and £10.00 per hourly session.  If you receive benefits and are eligible for Free School Meals (this is different from Universal Infant Free Meals), we will subsidise one club for your child so your total charge for this club will be £5.00 for the entire term. (If you book an additional club, this will be charged at the full cost.)

Ballet

Fun and inspiring ballet classes based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. The classes develop physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality using a range of movements and musical styles. Students are introduced to basic ballet steps, challenging dance patterns and learn a delightful solo ballet piece.

Have fun learning how to improve your ball control and develop new skills.

Boo Theatre bring their professional experience and knowledge to create a fun and creative club that builds on key life skills such as self-confidence, the importance of teamwork, public speaking and reading, as well as developing skills in Acting, Song & Dance.
