Year 3 Trip to the Museum of London
Tuesday 31 January 2017
Year 3 pupils have been studying the Victorian period in their Challenge Curriculum lessons this half term. Investigations ranged from Victorian inventions, the British Empire & illustrious figures, to what life was like for children in the 19th Century. They have also been studying adventure stories and their features by reading the stories of Charles Dickens. On Monday Lewis Class enjoyed a visit to the Museum of London to combine literacy and topic learning with a talk and museum tour (guided by Charles Dickens himself!) on the theme of Dickens children.
