Year 5 Trip to Parliament
Wednesday 14 September 2016
The Year 5 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Parliament on the first week of the new term. They listened to the debate on Grammar Schools led by Justine Greening, Education Secretary, and had a tour of the House of Commons. They then debated the serious issue of overpriced housing in London and across England. The speaker chose people to share their views on the issue and then took a vote. The majority agreed for cheaper housing!
