Seesaw feedback platform
Friday 22 January 2021
We have been so pleased to hear your positive feedback regarding the live and pre-recorded lessons we are sharing with your child. Teachers have been working hard to provide feedback as frequently as possible during these lessons, as research has found that feedback has a substantial impact on the progress that pupils make. We are therefore thrilled to inform you that we will now also be using Seesaw, a child-friendly online platform, to provide personalised feedback to every single pupil in the school.
Children will submit work each day for their teachers to read. Teachers will provide lengthier feedback at least once a week and will use the submitted work to amend upcoming lessons to suit the needs of all pupils in the class. This will be compulsory for certain pieces of work and your child’s teacher will tell you which work is expected to be uploaded each day. We ask that the work is uploaded as soon as possible after the live lesson concludes to ensure your child is able to receive feedback on their work. This process will begin on Monday 24th January.
How to log into Seesaw (laptop and PC):
- Go to app.seesaw.me and choose ‘I’m a student.’
- Enter the same email and password that you use to log into Teams for your live lessons.
- Look for the work required that day.
- Take a picture of your work using the camera on your laptop/phone and upload it.
- Check your response for feedback on what you did well and what you need to do to improve.
