Ofsted Covid 19 visit this October
Wednesday 25 November 2020
On 15th October we were visited by two of Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI) on behalf of Ofsted. We were one of approximately 1,200 schools who were selected to be visited by HMI, as part of their national reporting on how England’s education system is managing the return to full education, following the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This visit to Ark Conway was not an inspection and therefore we did not receive a graded judgement following the visit. They have kindly provided us with a letter with their findings from the visit, which you will find below.
The day was a very positive experience for all involved and the Teaching and Learning team and all staff thoroughly enjoyed being able to discuss all of the measures that we have put in place to ensure pupils can make maximum progress, as well as ensuring the safety of our whole community at all times.
