How we are organised
We are a non selective, non denominational one form entry Primary Academy. We have a maximum class size of 30 pupils and at full capacity 210 pupils will attend the school.
In September 2011 we admitted our first cohort of Reception pupils and the school will grow each year with Reception pupils admitted each year.
Each class will have a fully qualified teacher and teaching assistant to support pupils learning and pastoral care. They will know every pupil in great detail and will plan individual steps in learning. Our SENCO plans extension strategies and activities for Gifted and Talented pupils (G&T), pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Small School Culture
The small school culture at Ark Conway is one which supports pupils and their families and welcomes them into the Conway Community. As part of this culture every child is known by all staff within the school.
Ark Conway is part of the Ark Schools network, an education charity that was set up in 2004. Please click here to view the brochure with some more information about ARK Schools.
