School structure

We are a non selective, non denominational, one form entry Primary Academy. We have a maximum class size of 30 pupils and 210 pupils attend the school. 

Each class has a fully qualified teacher and teaching assistant to support pupils' learning and pastoral care. They know every pupil in great detail and plan individual steps in learning. Our SENCO plans extension strategies and activities for Gifted and Talented pupils (G&T), pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL), and pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Small school culture

The small school culture at Ark Conway is one which supports pupils and their families and welcomes them into the Conway Community. As part of this culture every child is known by all staff within the school.
