We have had such a fantastic week here at ARK Conway Primary Academy:
On Monday we had some parents come in to do some workshops with Carroll class and Dahl class, and Potter class went on a school trip to Kew Gardens.
On Tuesday the chicks hatched and the reception class have had such a great time learning with them so far. In the afternoon the whole school went on Forest School to create living art for their journey through the park, found evidence of spring and learned about mini beasts and their habitats.
On Wednesday the children took part in a bleep test, the school was so full of energy. Children also had a health session with the school nurse.
On Thursday the Science Boffins came in to showcase some interactive science and the children learned about carbon dioxide while Dr Newman hosted a journey through our digestive system.
On the Friday as well as it being the final day of Science Week it was also Sports Relief and the whole school went to Wormholt Park to take part in some Sports Science workshops.
