Enrichment Clubs

Mondays 4-5pm: Multisports

Multisports teaches the children a range of sporting skills from teamwork,
sport strategy and ball skills using a selection of team sports for example:
dodge ball, football and handball.

 

 

 

 

Tuesdays 4-5pm: Tennis

Tennis club allows children to get to grips with the basics of tennis by
teaching them racket skills, the rules of the game and sportsmanship.

 

 

 

 

 

Tuesdays 4-5pm: Cooking

Cooking club gives children some basic cooking skills. They learn to read
and follow recipes, measure ingredients and experiment with flavours.
Children will learn how to make a variety of simple foods including cheesy
pastries and garlic bread.

 

 

 

 

Wednesday 4-5pm: Ballet

During Ballet children watch videos of famous male and female ballet
dancers to get inspiration before completing exercises learning precision
of movement. Children build up these exercises to perform a short dance
at the end of each session and work towards a performance for parents to
showcase their talent at the end of term.

 

 

 

Wednesday 4-5pm: Chess

Chess club is for children in Year 1 onwards. Children learn about the
basics of chess including rules of the game, planning and strategy, and an
introduction to some more complex moves. They build up their skills and
at end the term participate in a mini tournament.

 

 

 

 

Thursdays 4-5pm: Football

Football is an opportunity for the children to improve their team sport
skills and ball skills. They learn how to play football and play mini games
against each other.

 

 

 

 

Thursdays 4-5pm: Brass Band

Brass Band is for children in Year 1 onwards. Children learn to read
music and play the cornet in two half sessions each week.

 

 

 

 

 

Fridays 4-5pm: Musical Theatre

Musical theatre gives the children a chance to learn and practice their
performance skills using games and themed sessions. Children build a
variety of skills based around activities aimed at developing their
confidence and talents.

 

 

 

 

Fridays 4-5pm: Rugby

Rugby is an opportunity for the children to improve their team sport skills
and ball skills specific to the sport. They learn how to play rugby and
practice in mini games against each other.
